Mumbai: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar is likely to focus on middle class who were ignored in union budget presented on Thursday. However, he may also announce the political strategy from the stage of Marathwada region that will conclude at Aurangabad on Saturday.

The NCP has completed Halla Bol morcha in Western Vidarbha and Marathwada region. NCP received huge response from farmers and common man during its morcha held between January 16 to 24. The concluded rally will be address by Pawar. According to NCP insider, “Income Tax slab is the major disappointment for the common man. People had expectations which the budget failed to fulfil. Common man is unhappy and Pawar will highlight the issues to please common man.”

Pawar, who is batting against Modi and Fadnavis government since last few months, may announce tying up alliance with Congress for Lok Sabha and state assembly polls including by-elections for the post of member of Parliament vacated after resignation of Nana Patole, former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from Bhandara-Gondia constituency.

Another NCP leader claimed political statement is not expected by Pawar from the stage of Halla Bol rally. It would be discusses in a primary meeting that will be held between NCP and Congress leaders at Mumbai on Saturday. “Off course, Pawar will take final call,” he said. NCP next plans to hold a Halla Bola morcha in north Maharashtra and rest of Vidarbha and complete it before the budget session of the state legislature, which is scheduled to begin from February 26.
