Police warn about disturbing video spreading on Facebook

A disturbing video that appears to show child pornography has gone viral on Facebook as people are sharing it in hopes of finding the perpetrator.

But that’s exactly the wrong thing to do, police warn.

Law enforcement already is aware and it’s under investigation. Police agencies from Alabama to France have gotten complaints as the video continues to spread.

Anyone who comes across it is advised to notify Facebook of the content and delete the video from your account.

Tony Garrett, executive director of Central Alabama Crime Stoppers, told AL.com “some things point to” the video being made in Alabama, but there’s no confirmation.
