Two children struck by vehicle in front of Fulton County school

FULTON COUNTY, Ga. - Two children were hit by a vehicle in front of a Fulton County school Friday afternoon.

It happened in front of Sandtown Middle School located in the 5400 block of Campbellton Road SW around 4:10 p.m. Fulton County Police said two children, a girl and boy, were struck.

Officer said the boy was rushed to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. The girl was alert, conscious and breathing at the scene.

Police said the vehicle remained at the scene.
