The team of ‘Race 3‘, who was shooting in Mumbai has finally wrapped the first schedule of the highly anticipated film last night. Filmmaker Remo D’Souza took to social media to announce that the shooting schedule of the action-packed thriller starring Salman Khan in Mumbai has been completed. He shared a still of Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez from the film and captioned the post as, “It’s a wrap #mumbaischedule. #race3. #racetofinish.”
Helmed by Remo and bankrolled by Ramesh Taurani, Salman’s action thriller Race 3 is third in the thriller series and has an impressive cast. Besides Salman, it stars Bobby Deol, Saqib Saleem, Daisy Shah and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles. You saw Salman Khan hit the screen with guns blazing (in Ali Abbas Zafar’s Tiger Zinda Hai, alongside Katrina Kaif), now you will see him get behind the wheel for the third installment of the crime drama, ‘Race 3’. The film is slated to hit theatres on Eid 2018.
A couple of weeks ago (in January), Race 3 cast and crew shot the first song of the film, Allah Duhai Hai. Salman was shooting with his co-stars nil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Jacqueline, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem, Freddy Daruwala and director-choreographer Remo D’souza at a studio in Mumbai amidst tight security as a Punjab based gangster Lawrence Bishnoi threatened to kill the Bollywood actor in Jodhpur.
Speaking of the song that was being shot, a source close to the development had revealed to a leading daily, “The song shoot is on schedule. Like the two previous title tracks, this one too will be mounted on a grand scale. A special set has been designed for the song. Next month the unit moves to Bangkok and then on to Dubai and Abu Dhabi. They are expected to finish by March with the last of the film being wrapped up in Mumbai.” Producer Ramesh Taurani too had confirmed the news to the daily. ALSO READ: Shocking!
