FAIRBANKS, Alaska — Montana State Billings used a big second half to rally past the University of Alaska 74-59 in GNAC women's basketball.
The Yellowjackets (16-8, 9-5) remain on the road with games at Central Washington and Northwest Nazarene this week.
MSUB trailed the Nanooks 35-29 at halftime but outscored the home team 45-27 in the second half.
Alisha Breen posted her 10th double-double of the season with 23 points and 11 rebounds. Rylee Kane added 18 points and Vanessa Stavish 16.
Alaska pulled within 59-57 in the fourth quarter but Breen responded with a layin and the Nanooks got no closer.
Kylie Wallace led Alaska with 19 points, while Emily Evans had 14 and Josie Sewell 10.
