“I know the score doesn’t reflect it, but I think we wrestled great,” said El Dorado head coach Wesley Reynolds.
“When you’re giving up so many open classes and we’re giving 24 to 30 points right off the bat, it makes it tough. My kids wrestled hard. They got after it every match. Jaxon Roberts had a big win against a ranked opponent, and was pretty dominant. It’s tough every time McPherson comes.”
The Wildcats will compete at Rose Hill on Feb. 2-3, and then on Saturday, Feb. 10 at Chase County to close out the regular season.
The Wildcats will compete at the 4A regional meet in Abilene on Feb. 16-17.
“We’re right towards the end and we’re trying to hone in on what we’re doing, and be at our best for that weekend,” said Reynolds.
