Bank Sohar Supports Association for the Welfare of Handicapped Children – Musannah branch

The initiative forms part of the bank’s CSR largesse outlined under Sohar al Atta, a comprehensive social support programme extending aid to a variety of non-profit and welfare organizations. Bank Sohar’s donation will go towards building the centre’s capacities in terms of restocking and upgrading physical training equipment for its members.

Commenting on the bank’s contribution, MuniraAbdulnabiMacki, GM – HR and Corporate Support, said, “We are firmly committed to supporting the local Omani community on all fronts and being an active agent for change and progress in society. The donation cheque was handed over at the association office to Rahma al Habsi, centre manager for Al Wafa Centre for Rehabilitation of Children with Disabilities - Musannah branch, by Mazin Mahmood al Raisi, senior AGM – head of Marketing & Customer Experience at Bank Sohar.

Thanking the bank for its generosity, Rahma said, “We are grateful for the support of a reputable financial institution, which will help us make better investments towards the improvement of our facilities. We appreciate private sector participation in our activities and the continuous support received from our various partners in this sector. Bank Sohar has always been a key contributor and we are confident that their contributions and support will continue in the future.”

Bank Sohar’s donation forms part of its fourth quarter largesse towards social development organizations that promote community empowerment. It joins several other initiatives under a comprehensive CSR strategy that provides crucial financial assistance to numerous social development associations across the country.
