NBA trade rumors: Magic shopping Aaron Gordon? Pistons' Stanley Johnson to Spurs?

The NBA Trade Deadline is on Feb. 8. With less than one week remaining, the NBA rumor mill is running rampant with trade speculation.

Here's a roundup of the latest rumors.

Aaron Gordon

Magic shopping Aaron Gordon?

The Magic have one young, talented piece worth building around.

Apparently Orlando might be willing to move him.

Per The Athletic's Michael Scotto, the Magic might be listening to offers for young power forward Aaron Gordon, the high-flying Arizona alum having the best season of his young career.

Per Scotto...

The new regime of Jeff Weltman and John Hammond has left no stone unturned with the deadline approaching, including quietly gauging the trade market on Aaron Gordon, league sources told The Athletic.

Gordon is eligible for restricted free agency this summer, so Orlando could simply be doing due diligence.

Gordon is participating in the NBA's dunk contest next month. He was considered an All-Star candidate on the heels of his vastly improved production across the board — Gordon is averaging 18.4 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 2.0 three-pointers per game.

Gordon is due to be a restricted free agent this offseason and is in line for a hefty pay raise.

Warriors dangling big men?

The Warriors might be looking to clear some cap room in order to pay less luxury tax, and as a result Golden State is reportedly shopping a couple of its big men.

Per Sam Amico, the Warriors are listening to offers for centers Javale McGee and Zaza Pachulia.

As for the actual deadline, the defending champs are reportedly dangling center JaVale McGee and possibly center Zaza Pachulia as well. Interestingly, the Cavs wouldn’t mind getting McGee, supposedly available for cheap. But it’s highly unlikely the Warriors would trade him to the opponent they view as their one true rival.

McGee — on a 1-year, $2.1 million deal — is only playing 8.1 minutes per game this season.

Knicks willing to trade 1st rounder in Noah deal?

The relationship between Joakim Noah and the Knicks appears to have suffered irreparable harm.

It's not as if Noah — earning nearly $38 million combined the next two seasons — has been playing up to his contract anyway, averaging 1.7 points in seven games this season. He recently was put on indefinite leave from the team.

Now the Knicks might be offering a first-round pick just to rid themselves of Noah.

Per Steve Kyler of Basketball Insiders...

A league source familiar with the Knicks’ thinking suggested New York may be open to giving up their first-round pick this year to offload Noah without needing to buy him out or carry a monster cap hit. The prevailing thought was the Knicks wouldn’t be bad enough to land one of the gems of the draft class, and with so much youth on the roster now, a one year hit to jettison Noah seems to be at least under consideration.
