Sheriff's deputies have charged the suspect from a double homicide of two females and attempted murder of a man in Vail Friday afternoon.

Hernando Enriquez, 44, has been charged with killing his wife 43-year-old Sandra Enriquez , daughter 15-year-old Isabelle Enriquez and attempting to murder his son.

The family lived together in a house in the 400 block of North Tomasita Drive near East Greystokes Drive, which is in the Whetstone Ranch area south of Interstate 10, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department says.

The case started about 4 p.m. Friday when the son, while wounded, was able to call for help from a neighbors house.

He directed deputies to the house where the mother and daughter were found.

Deputies then found Hernando Enriquez in a culvert nearby. He also had serious injuries.

Both men were taken to a hospital. The department's investigation is ongoing.
