ROCKFORD — A 24-year-old Rockford woman who died after a single-vehicle crash Thursday has been identified as Jateyrrica Scott by the Winnebago County coroner.

Scott was pronounced dead at 6:30 p.m. at Mercyhealth Hospital — Rockton Avenue. Paramedics transported her to the hospital. The accident was near Sandy Hollow Road and Kishwaukee Street. Rockford police are investigating her death.
