Instead of getting mentioned in newspaper spaces and TV, the stocky cricketer is aware he has to ‘perform or perish’ in the big ticket league. Therefore has set himself a punishing schedule to get leaner and stronger.
“I spend more time on fitness in the gym, run a lot and exercise to add muscle to my limbs. This way I will generate more power to hit longer and add a yard to my pace,” said Mazoor.
He is quite thrilled to share dressing room with the star players like Aaron Finch, Chris Gayle, David Miller, R Ashwin, Yuvraj Singh and coach Virender Sehwag.
Talking about his initial hardwork, Manzoor and his family faced, he told that “Last week when I called my mother to give her the good news, she cried like a baby. She told me Allah has rewarded your hard work.”

When asked about how he will spend the 20 lakh which he got at the auction?, he said, “Take my mother – who is not keeping well – to a good hospital, spend on the education of my three sisters and repair the house. I want to fix the windows first. In winters, the house won’t keep warm.”
