Okay, maybe it only seems like Rutgers has a campus in New England, where ex-Scarlet Knights have played a part in the Patriots' dynasty.
Since the 2014-15 season, five former Rutgers players have earned Super Bowl rings. All have been members of the New England Patriots.
They are among the 14 former Scarlet Knights who have earned NFL-championship rings.
In all, Rutgers has had 19 players on a Super Bowl roster.
Kenny Britt, the Patriots wide receiver who is likely to be inactive when New England and the Philadelphia Eagles meet Sunday evening in Minnesota, will be the 20th former Rutgers player to be part of the Super Bowl.

The leader in career receptions for Rutgers, Sanu hauled in passes on both of his targets and totaled 25 yards in the Atlanta Falcons' 34-28 loss to the Patriots last year.
