LAS VEGAS — Heather Tracy homered three times in three at-bats and had five RBIs in Montana State Billings 8-5 win over Colorado Christian Saturday at the Desert Stinger Classic.
The win gave the Yellowjackets a split after losing 4-1 to Azusa Pacific earlier in the day. MSUB (3-1) closes the tournament against Cal State Dominguez Hills on Sunday.
Tracy hit two-run home runs in the second and fourth innings and added a solo shot in the sixth. The senior outfielder also scored four runs.
Myrissa Prince also homered for the Yellowjackets, while Megan Dettling had two RBIs. Maddy Lincoln pitched the final 3.2 innings for the win.
Cameron Cassinelli had a solo home run for MSUB against Azusa Pacific.
