Another draw for two TU-CU football game

Nattapong Sairiya’s late goal drew a 1-1 tie between Chulalong University and Thammasat University in their traditional football tournament at the Supachalsai National Stadium on Saturday.
The 72nd edition of the long-time traditional event between two of the most prestigious institutes in Thailand appeared to end on the favour of Thammasat which enjoyed an early goal from Kasidech Wettayawong of Udon Thani FC only in the seventh minute.
However, the Nakhon Ratchasima FC’s Nattapong found the equalizer in the 93rd minute which saw the two sides settle with a tie for the 32nd time.
As usual, a pre-game satirical parade of students from both universities still drew huge attention from the spectators. Card display by the students also proved one of the top highlights of the event.
