New Delhi, Feb 3: Terrorists on Saturday hurled a grenade at CRPF Party in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama, leaving two civilians and 3 CRPF personnel injured. The injured civilians, who were identified as Shabir Ahmed Bhat (35) and Bilal Ahmed Sheikh (37), have been shifted to a hospital in Tral.
The condition of all the 3 jawans, including CRPF constable Gopi Chand who sustained a minor injury on the right cheek, is said to be out of danger. The CRPF 180 battalion was crossing Tral’s Batagund Village in Pulwama when terrorists hurled grenades at them.

On the occasion of Republic Day, a similar attack took place in the state wherein terrorists lobbed a grenade near a police station in Pulwama district.
Earlier on January 22, a police constable was also injured after terrorists hurled a grenade at police station in Kashmir’s Baramulla.
On January 12, Shopian district witnessed a similar attack, wherein terrorists sprayed bullets on a police post.
On December 31 last year, five Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans were killed when heavily armed terrorists launched a pre-dawn attack on a CRPF camp in Pulwama district of south Kashmir.
