Crashes

Minnesota State Patrol: semi crash, 8:29 p.m. Thursday, Interstate 90 westbound, Hunter Township, Jackson County. A 2010 Kenworth semi operated by Dale John Pelster, 53, of Neligh, Neb. hit the shoulder of the median, then overcorrected and came back across both lanes of traffic before striking a bridge pillar. Pelster was transported to Sanford Jackson with a non-life-threatening injury. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and Jackson County Ambulance assisted at the scene.

WPD: two-vehicle crash, 10:20 p.m. Wednesday, 300 block of West Dover Street.

WPD: hit-and-run, 3:55 a.m. Friday, parking lot in 1700 block of Minnesota 60.

WPD: possible scam, 5:47 p.m. Thursday, 1700 block of Oxford Street.

Osceola County Sheriff’s Office: Annamarie Martinez Garcia, 35, of Sibley, Iowa was arrested Thursday on an Osceola County warrant for possession of a controlled substance-marijuana (first offense), possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine (first offense) and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was transported and booked into the Osceola County Jail, where she posted a $2,300 bond.

Osceola County Sheriff’s Office: Jose Jesus Garcia, 34, of Sibley, Iowa, was arrested Thursday on an Osceola County warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia, child endangerment, gathering for use of drugs, possession of controlled substance-marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance-cocaine with intent to deliver. He was transported and booked into Osceola County Jail, where he was held on a $17,300 bond.

WPD: citation for driving after suspension, 12:59 a.m. Friday.
