I've always loved icecream but Dad wouldn't really let us have it in the house 'cause he always wanted us to eat healthy.

But Mum would find ways to get round it and take me and my sister and brother out for some treats.

One day when I was about 14 she said "Come on, get in the car. Let's go for a ride."

We arrived at the Strawberry Farm in Mangere and I was like, "What are we doing here?" Then she disappeared and came back with her hands full of icecreams.

She knows I love icecream and she's got awesome taste, like me.

I'm a real sweet-tooth so I like all icecream but my favourite would have to be from the Strawberry Farm.

It's a real fruit blend, as fresh as you can get, and has an amazing flavour. They put in a handful of big juicy red delicious berries and whip it up with vanilla icecream and finish off with a thick waffle cone. The fresh strawberry is amazing on a hot summer's day. There's always a big queue and sometimes you have to wait in line for quite a while - but it's worth it.

I've been going there for about 10 years now.

In training camp it's very, very strict, you have to eat what you're given and follow the nutrition routine. After a fight though, I go to get all my favourite things and they taste sooo good after going without for so long. That's when the fresh strawberry icecream is most delicious. More than delicious, like delicious times 10.

With the little bits of real fruit in there and you're at the actual farm and you can see them in the fields right in front of you and ... I'm gonna go there now.

No, honest, I think I'm gonna go there right now, it's a perfect day for it, sunny-as, time for some strawberries in the sun. See ya!
