CISF DG to OP Singh take charge as Uttar Pradesh's Director General of Police by Tuesday

Director General of Police, OP Singh, on Friday made first direct interaction with the senior police officers of the State and directed them to work as 'team’ to control the crime as well as to improve the  'image’ of the police. Later he also visited the ATS training Centre.

You all should work with full dedication and devotion just like a Rs Team’, asserted Singh while addressing his sub-ordinates here on Friday morning. He claimed that until the joint efforts will be made, the crime could not be controlled. He also stressed on building up the Rs Image’ of the UP police and claimed that until the people have trust on the cops, they will not come out with valuable inputs which is very important in arresting the rising crime graph. 

DGP said that through Rs planning’ maximum and best results could be achieved.  He claimed that the cops must not forget three Es – Energy,  Enthusiasm and Empathy as only through the above, best policing could be ensured. Singh also laid emphasis on training of the police and said that all the cops, right from the constable till the senior rank, must undergo regular training programme as it not just made them fit for the job but also enhance their capabilities of working out any sensational crime or maintaining law and order.

He also directed to install close circuit televisions (CCTV) in all the police stations of the State.  Besides all ADG Zones, Range IG, district police chief, senior officers of Intelligence, Railways, ATS, STF, Radio Head Quarter etc attended the meeting.
