We've reached the final stretch. The Super Bowl finally arrives Sunday, but not before a weekend filled with live music.

While much fuss has been raised about outrageous ticket prices and private and semi-private events, there is so much going on across the metro that a patient, persistent, bargain-hunter might be able to squeak into an undersold show at a reduced rate. (Good luck with that.)

Here's a look at some of the musical options on tap. Keep in mind that prices have already been fluctuating and may end up higher, or lower, than those listed here, and some VIP package prices (some of which are for entire tables) are vague, at best.

In St. Paul and the suburbs

Long-running jam band the Dave Matthews Band headlines St. Paul's Xcel Energy Center on Saturday. Tickets disappeared quickly, but scalpers are selling some nosebleed seats at, or below, the $67 face value. Some $175 general-admission main floor tickets may still be available from Ticketmaster.

Another jam band, O.A.R., is playing the same night, next door at St. Paul RiverCentre for the Taste of NFL Party with a Purpose. The charity event pairs extraordinary chefs from the 32 NFL cities with current Hall of Fame and alumni players from each of the NFL franchises as they serve over 45,000 tastings for 2,500 guests. Tickets are $700 from tasteofthenfl.com.

For a more down-to-earth show, the Amsterdam Bar and Hall has hired family-friendly act Koo Koo Kanga Roo for an all-ages Super Bowl party on Saturday with tickets only $15.

The Myth in Maplewood has two nights of hip-hop with Future and Cardi B (9 p.m. today; $20,000-$195; twincitylive.com) and Travis Scott (9 p.m. Saturday; $27,955-$150). Kygo (9 p.m. today; $125) kicks off the weekend at Mystic Lake Casino, also home to Florida Georgia Line (9 p.m. Saturday; $200) and Gwen Stefani (9 p.m. Sunday; $200-$69).

Saturday opens at 11:30 a.m. with DJ Dudley D, MC Tonez and Katie Andres, followed by fan rallies at noon and 2:30 p.m. and live music from Kris Wu (4), Bob Mould (4:45), the Suburbs (5:45), the Jayhawks (6:45), Soul Asylum (7:45) and X Ambassadors (9).

On game day, Super Bowl Live offers DJ Dudley D, Katie Andres and Jon Berry at noon followed at 1 p.m. by 13 Crowns.
