Akado Telecom launches payments platform for SMEs

Russian regional fixed operator Akado Telecom has introduced the new service 'Online Cash-Desk' to B2B customers, reports Cnews.ru. The new service targets SMEs active in the retail sector and customer service. Akado expects at least 1,000 connections to the new service annually.

The service includes a tablet connected to the internet and a special device for data encryption and transferring fiscal information. The package also contains a printer for printing bills and receipts.

An internet speed starting from 512 kbps is necessary in order to use the service.
