RITTMAN — Sandra L. Berkey, 76, of Rittman, died Feb. 2, 2018, at Akron City Hospital.

She was born July 10, 1941, in Akron, to Donald and Bea (Davis) Harper, and married John Berkey on Nov. 5, 1990. He survives.

She loved art, crochet, and was an avid doll collector.

Sandra will be deeply missed by her husband; children, Donald (Sue) Townsend of Larue, David Townsend of New Bloomington, Cathy (Chuck) Dennewitz of Akron and Michael (Tammie) Townsend of Creston; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard (Betty) Harper and Bob (Betty) Harper.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Jimmy; sisters, Donna Musser and Sherrie Arndt.
