West Ham director to face probe over racist remarks
LONDON • West Ham have suspended Tony Henry, director of player recruitment, following claims of racial discrimination, the Premier League club said yesterday.

The club confirmed that Henry, who joined West Ham in 2014, has been suspended pending "full and thorough investigation".

Grid girls to play no part in F1 from this season
PARIS • Formula One has ended the practice of using grid girls before races, the sport's organisers Liberty Media said on Wednesday.
They said the practice of having the women milling about in the grid area before races was "clearly at odds with modern day societal norms". The change takes effect from the season opener in Melbourne on March 25.
Darts took a similar decision this month, banning the women who walk on with the players before matches.
