A baby’s crib is being recalled by a parent and baby store over safety fears.

Mothercare is recalling its Hyde Crib after reports of the base of the bed detaching from its frame.

The nationwide store said it effects a number of cribs sold, especially those both from January 2017 to November 2017.

The product was sold online, in Mothercare stores AND in other outlets.

The style is R2412 and barcode 502146378938-2.

If your crib is affected, stop using it immediately.

Return it to your point of purchase for a full refund.

"We apologise for any inconvenience," said the company in a recall notice.
