The Lakeland Chamber of Commerce will host the annual Tiger BBQ later this month.
Now in its 72nd year, the event serves as a kickoff for the Detroit Tigers’ spring training season. The event will be held Feb. 20 on Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium from 6 to 8 p.m.
Tickets are $40 for adult chamber members and $25 for children under 12 years old. The cost rises to $60 for non-chamber members. Attendees will receive a souvenir mug, but there are no take-out orders and no autographs allowed.
