Reforms at Hamidia Hospital to provide patients’ friendly treatment

The hospital administration has decided that improved patient friendly treatment will be provided to the patients coming to Hamidia Hospital in Bhopal from now on. Under this arrangement, registration counters, enquiry, signage board and posting of social workers has been ensured. These facilities were not available in the hospital earlier. Several reforms have been made in the hospital following administrative changes.

For the first time, online appointment system is being implemented in the hospital. Under this system, patients will be able to register online for appointment. Prescription form and free slip will be given to patients online during registration which will enable them to get medicines at the hospital counter on the basis of the registration number.

The registration counters for patients at Hamidia hospital has been increased from 4 to 10. Now patients would not have to stand in long queues.

Enquiry centres have been set up for patients in which employees have been assigned duty in three shifts. This will ensure guidance for proper treatment in less time to incoming patients. Signage boards have been put up where necessary in the hospital so that patients do not have any difficulty in reaching the centres for treatment. Social workers on 24x7 duty in the hospital will provide treatment related information and guidance. They will be monitored by Department head of Hamidia Hospital.
