AIDS Delaware will host its annual Do The Right Thing 4Life Banquet at 6 p.m. Feb 17 at The Waterfall in Claymont, 3416 Philadelphia Pike, in honor of National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day.

The banquet will honor beauty salon and barbershop owners, along with others who’ve helped promote HIV/AIDS prevention and awareness throughout Delaware. Honorees include Derrick D. Reed, De’Shaun Chancy, Tanya Washington, Lamont Cook, Dionne Cornish, Bishop Billy J. Lane Jr. and Jay Patel. Guest speaker will be Masonia Traylor, and special guest will be Saniy’yah Samaa.
