YouTube Go Launched in 130 Countries Worldwide, Adds New Features

YouTube launched Youtube Go as a beta test in India last year and they said that it was built from the ground up that was designed to be offline first and for users to have more control over data usage. In December last year, they decided to roll out the beta test to several African countries including Kenya and now they have rolled it out to more countries worldwide.

“We are excited to expand YouTube Go to over 130 countries around the globe starting today,” YouTube said. “YouTube Go gives access to YouTube regardless of connectivity status and more control over data usage while being locally and socially relevant.”
