Osborne, 48, was today sentenced to least 43 years behind bars after being found guilty of murder and attempted murder at Woolwich Crown Court on Thursday.
His van attack outside a mosque in Finsbury Park, north London, on June 19 last year killed 51-year-old Makram Ali and injured 12 others.
Jurors took just under an hour to convict the "loner" father-of-four who carried out the attack "with a terrorist motive" after being radicalised by Far Right propaganda.
"This was a terrorist attack – you intended to kill," the Justice Cheema-Grubb said, handing him the sentence.
Osborne, of Cardiff, Wales, stood still, clasping his hands in front of him, and said "God bless you, thank you" after the sentence was passed, before leaving the dock.

Unemployed father-of-four Osborne claimed a "guy called Dave" carried out the attack shortly after 12.15am on June 19 last year.
But sentencing him, Mrs Cheema-Grubb said the jury had seen "through your pathetic, last-ditched attempt to deceive them".
She added: "You hired a big van and the next day you took it from Cardiff to London, intending to deploy it as a lethal weapon to drive into and murder innocent people, lawfully assembled and protesting in London.
"You told the jury you intended to plough through as many of them as possible, but you failed."

The judge noted how Osborne had described killing Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn and Mayor of London Sadiq Khan as "like winning the lottery".
Lisa Wilding QC, in mitigation, said: "It is clear from the defendant's own account that his actions that day were ideologically motivated."
She added: "While we accept that this is properly characterised as an act of terror. It is, in our submission, arguably not the most grave of its type."
Ms Wilding said the judge could impose a "substantial minimum term".

Osborne was radicalised in just a few weeks after watching the BBC drama Three Girls last May about the Rochdale grooming scandal, which served as a "catalyst".
He started researching Far Right material online and became "obsessed" with Muslims, and was a "ticking time bomb", according to his estranged partner Sarah Andrews.
Osborne drove the Citroen Luton box van from Cardiff on June 18 to target the pro-Palestinian Al Quds Day march in central London.
He said he hoped to kill Mr Corbyn, who he thought would be there, adding: "And if Sadiq Khan would have been there, it would have been even better.
"It would have been like winning the lottery."
But he was thwarted by road closures so drove to Lewisham, south east London looking for a mosque to target before heading north to Finsbury Park where he carried out the attack 16 minutes after midnight.
