Re: Prawit pledges to resign ‘if people don’t want him’, January 31

Great! How about a NIDA poll?

Darcula

Go on then. What are you waiting for?

JonnyF

Seems the NIDA poll shows already that people want him to leave… or at least don’t believe him. Why not be brave and ask for a poll on the subject and tie your career to it.

I doubt it will happen, but I can always dream.

Besides I would rather see him investigated for corruption… but that won’t happen.

robblok

And how will the people be able to tell him that? Elections, which cannot be held? Protests, which are not allowed?

kotsak

He must have the hide of elephant not to feel that he is highly unpopular and have to go. All over the media and polls.

Erif Loh

Resign yes, but also held to account and prosecuted for any wrongdoing. This junta started out well with its fight on corruption but it seems it has failed to apply the rules and law equally.

This is why the people have called you out, when it comes to corruption you might turn out to be just as bad as the crowd you removed – so what was the point

Smedly

Take ya mate with you, close the door on the way out.

mercman24

Leave the country and never come back?

Shady86

Can we have a public opinion poll on the topic??? Oooppsss!!! Guess not...

TallguyJohninBangkok

Go, there’s a life after politics as curator of the Prawit Museum of Fine Watches.

PatOngo

On your bike then (your mate lent it to you when you were seven, remember? – no you never returned it!)

Is there anybody out there that “would” do a better job?

Kinda thinking not!

CGW

If he had a shred of decency he would have gone already

Orton Rd

Must have enough in the bank by now then.

RichardColeman

The Suisse watchmakers will miss you.

HiSoLowSoNoSo

The majority of Thais never wanted him to stay.
