A Lincoln man accused of not delivering furniture he sold online has been given eight years of probation and been ordered to pay nearly $60,000 in restitution.

The Lincoln Journal Star reports that 38-year-old Isaac Herron was sentenced Tuesday. He'd pleaded no contest to attempted theft by deception and guilty to identity theft. Prosecutors say he took out a loan in a relative's name.

Herron's six 30-day jail terms may be waived if he's abiding by the terms of probation.

In March 2014 the Better Business Bureau issued an alert about Herron's furniture business, Aliyah Rose Home Furnishings, after getting 29 complaints over a three-year period. The store also went by the names Aly and Co. and Aliyah Rose Inspired Children's Furnishings. It's been closed.
