Yesterday, we all woke up to the news of Amitabh Bachchan threatening to quit Twitter after accusing the organisation of lessening the number of his followers and having been dethroned of being the most followed Indian actor on Twitter by Shah Rukh Khan. After Bachchan took to his micro-blogging site to share a still from his film ‘Hum’ and write, “T 2599 – TWITTER ..!!!?? you reduced my number of followers .. !!??HAHAHAHAHAHAHA .. !! thats a joke .. time to get off from you .. thank you for the ride .. .. there are many ‘other’ fish in the sea – and a lot more exciting !!,” the rumours started doing the rounds that Bachchan is quitting Twitter.

However, the actor’s cryptic tweet was clearly just a joke. Bachchan is very much active on Twitter and the number of retweets on his account are proof. After Bachchan’s tweet, where he expressed his disappointment over lesser number of followers, his fans were amused about the fight for maximum number of followers on Twitter and started trolling Big B.

However, here’s a befitting reply from the actor to the trollers; Big B took to his micro-blogging site to post another tweet, which read, “HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA …social media – you are a delight !! Following Followers & Tweets – you are a delight .. who to follow,  you are a delight .. India Trends –  you are delight ..  Each human in World a delight .. coz’ we are all TWITTERED” Now, it’s confirmed that the actor is not going anywhere. ALSO READ: Shocking! Bachchan is undoubtedly one of the most active Twitter users in our country. This makes him the second most followed Indian actor on Twitter around the globe after Shah Rukh Khan. We wonder what caused this dip in followers. Well, this doesn’t change anything as Big B, just like every other day, has been seen updating his followers with the happenings around the world and tweets about the same.
