The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) will arrive at a decision on interconnect mobile voice termination rates after examining the findings in a study by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), reports CommunicationsWeek. Josephine Amuwa, NCC director for Policy, Competition and Economic Analysis, said that once the findings are known, they will be reviewed. She stated that, after the review, a new rate will take off on 01 March.

The watchdog has reviewed the rates four times since the deregulation of the industry. The consultant was commissioned to carry out the latest study in February 2017.
