Political caucuses are Tuesday night - 2.3.18

  Democratic and Republican caucuses will be held Tuesday evening, setting off-year political activity that will culminate with November elections. Big Lake Twp. and City Republicans will meet at Big Lake High School; township and city Democrats will meet at the Big Lake Middle School. Orrock Republicans will meet at Becker Baptist Church; while Democrats will meet in the small auditorium at Becker High School. Big Lake Twp. Precinct 4 residents will attend caucuses at the two Becker locations. Starting time for all the caucuses is 7 p.m.

   At those meetings, residents can author resolutions which can become platforms for party support. There will be visits from local politicians and it is expected there will be a straw poll for candidates for Governor of Minnesota, which will be a major election in the state this year.
