The Dodge City High School bowling team competed at a triangular event in Great Bend Thursday night.

Great Bend and Holcomb were the other schools that competed in the event.

The Red Demons varsity girls team beat both other teams, finishing with a total of 2,391 points. Holcomb and Great Bend had 2,313 and 2,226 respectively.

Dodge City’s boys varsity, boys junior varsity and their girls junior varsity all finished second in their categories.

The Bowling team is next in action Tuesday, when they host another triangular event against Holcomb and Liberal. That event will take place at Spare Tyme Bowl, and is scheduled to start at 3 p.m.
