...AREAS OF SEA FOG POSSIBLE ALONG THE LOWER TEXAS COAST TONIGHT...
Warm, moist air will continue to move over relatively cooler
waters this evening and tonight, producing areas of marine fog
the next few hours. Surface observations already indicate dense
fog is beginning to develop across the nearshore Gulf waters and
may move across portions of the Laguna Madre. A cold front will
move through the area early Friday morning, quickly improving
conditions in its wake.
Mariners are urged to reduce speed and maintain a lookout for
other vessels, buoys, and breakwaters. In addition, keep your
navigation lights on. Consider returning to or remaining in port,
especially if your vessel is not equipped to handle the reduced
visibility..
