The Lake County General Health District is bumping up the dates of its next to Project DAWN clinics.
Project DAWN (Deaths Avoided With Naloxone) clinics are generally held the second Wednesday of the month. However the next two will be held during the first Wednesday of the month.
The next clinic will be at 5 p.m. Feb. 7 at the health district’s 5966 Heisley Road office in Mentor.
March’s clinic will be at 6 p.m. March 7 at the Mentor Public Library, 8215 Mentor Ave.
The clinics are available to anyone over the age of 17 interested in obtaining the knowledge and skills to recognize an overdose and administer the opioid overdose reversal medication naloxone (also known as Narcan).
