Sterling Ranch, the new community in Douglas County south of Littleton, has a sustainable master plan and a huge complement of amenities on the way; but for residents of older areas like Highlands Ranch and Roxborough, it’s a simple opportunity to get new homes in a part of town where they’re hard to find.  Lennar Homes doubles-down on that appeal today, with a grand opening for affordably priced models that bring Sterling Ranch to a new, low price point.

Lennar’s Elements Collection of single-family designs are a first for the Southwest metro area — high-value, new-urban plans that package lots of wide-open, functional space into a low-maintenance courtyard design. That’s something that home buyers now, particularly younger ones, often prefer to the prospect of mowing grass and shoveling snow.

Those Elements models you can tour Feb. 4 start from $441,000 – a real, out-the-door price that’ll deliver an actual home; with no upgrades necessary (Lennar’s ‘Everything’s Included’ package wraps common upgrades into the price as standard features, rather than as options).  To put that entry price into perspective, that’s below the median sales price of homes in areas like Highlands Ranch and Littleton, where typical product tends to be much older.

That $441,000 home is an ‘Ash’ plan (you can tour the model) that provides three bedrooms and more than 1,800 square feet of finished space, with wide-open entertaining areas, a large outdoor deck, and a 2-car attached garage that shares a common driveway with several homes.  Lennar installs the low-maintenance front-and-backyard landscaping; and snow removal is provided for $14.52-a-month, in a community where a metro district keeps up the trails, parks and other amenities, already taking shape nearby.

Lennar’s Scott Geary is seeing lots of traffic from Roxborough, where very few new homes have been available; but also from Highlands Ranch, where buyers wanting comparable, new-urban-styled designs by other builders take positions on waiting lists for future delivery.  “We get lots of engineer and tech buyers here because of our proximity to employers like Lockheed Martin,” adds Geary.  “They like the futuristic planning for sustainability at Sterling Ranch; the fiber optics and the Steward smart-home features.”

You can tour a 4-bedroom, 3-bath ‘Jade’ plan, over 2,300 square feet from $489,900; and you can preview a choice of Elements plans that Lennar has on track to deliver soon – such as an ‘Isla’ 3-bedroom design, with granite and stainless steel in the kitchen, hardwood-laminate floors and 2-inch blinds, all included, delivering in April at $475,550.  You’ll see how close Chatfield State Park and reservoir are (residents get a free pass!), trailheads into Roxborough State Park and Waterton Canyon; and the civic center taking shape near Lennar’s models, to include a UC Health clinic and coffee bar.

For the grand opening, take S. Santa Fe/U.S. 85 south from C-470 four miles to Titan Road and turn west a mile (or from Roxborough, head north on Rampart Range Road to Titan Road and east).  From the roundabout, head south a block to Piney River, then turn west two blocks to Geneva Creek Lane.
