Authorities say the shooter, a 12-year-old girl, brought the semi-automatic handgun to Salvador Castro Middle School in her backpack. She has since been booked into juvenile hall on suspicion of negligent discharge of a firearm on school grounds. All of the people injured in the shooting are expected to survive.. |
