Margot Robbie and Jamie Pressly Freak Twitter Out: More Celebrity Doppelgangers
Margot Robbie became a Hollywood superstar after appearing in Martin Scorsese's 2013 film The Wolf of Wall Street. And yet it took nearly five years for people on social media to notice Robbie bears an uncanny resemblance to actress Jamie Pressly.
Despite Pressly being 13 years older than 27-year-old Robbie, movie buffs took to Twitter Thursday to suggest they could pass for the same person.

“I just saw that Tumblr post about Margot Robbie and Jamie Pressly and it confused me on so many levels but I am convinced now that Margot Robbie is a time traveler.”
“I 100% thought Margot Robbie was Jamie Pressly. Even in that movie with Leo in it. I still kind of do. I’m confused.”
“Margot Robbie y Jamie Pressly son la misma persona?”
“I always confuse Jamie Pressly and Margot Robbie, they twins af.”
“Ok so how am I just realizing that @MargotRobbie and Jamie Pressly are long lost sisters……”
Even though fans picked up on the uncanny resemblance this week, it's not a new observation for Pressly. In 2016, photographers asked the My Name is Earl actress if she was aware people thought she resembled Robbie. Pressly admitted she noticed the similarities, but their likeness was the other way around. “Right, right, well that she looks like me,” she said.
And before you go all in on conspiracy theories, the two have met. In December, Pressly attended the Los Angeles premiere of Robbie’s Oscar-nominated film, I, Tonya, in which the Australian native plays the role of infamous ice skater Tonya Harding. In photos snapped at the star-studded event, Pressly and Robbie look identical.
The Robbie-Pressly similarity is just the latest in a line of celebrity doppelgangers. Throughout the years, actresses Bryce Dallas Howard and Jessica Chastain have been pegged as celebrity twins. The same goes for Minka Kelly and Leighton Meester, Rob Lowe and Ian Somerhalder, as well as Zooey Deschanel and Katy Perry. Saturday Night Live played around with the concept, too, in a 2012 sketch featuring Dylan McDermott and Dermot Mulroney.
The look-alike to rule them all, though, is Bill Paxton and Bill Pullman. They look nothing alike, but their vague similarities are strong enough to inspire people to ask about the cast of certain films: Paxton or Pullman?
