Letter writer says if we continue to have people bashing one party or another, we can never resolve our issues.

The Jan. 17 letter, “Donald Trump is fearless and that’s a good thing,” stated that Social Security, prescription drugs, Medicare, Amtrak and post offices are going broke; our schools broken, borders wide open, health care a disaster.

These things did not happen during Obama’s term. Our government has fought over these issues for many, long years before Obama. Usually, if a company is going broke, it’s because of poor management. If we continue to have people bashing one party or another, we can never resolve our issues and that seems to be the format of Republicans vs. Democrats these days.

Let’s concentrate on what is in the best interest for this country, because this kind of bantering and pointing a finger to party individuals doesn’t work. Really, it takes two to tango so why do we condemn the other when our elected officials do a better job? I, for one, am very concerned about the politics of this country right now.
