Oh, Blindspot! Not only are we still recovering from the twist that Jane's (Jaimie Alexander) daughter Avery (Kristina Reyes) is still alive (of course she is, this is Blindspot!), but we have to get used to this new dynamic now that Jane and Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) have her in custody. And you know what? It seems like typical teenage daughter drama to me.
Jane and Weller want more info on Roman (Luke Mitchell), who has been helping Avery out, and Avery isn't exactly cooperative with her biological mom and step-dad. Avery is instantly upset with Jane for how she treated Roman in the past -- especially zipping his mind in Season 2 -- making getting anything of substance out of her extremely difficult.
Still, Jane and Weller need to crack the nut that is Avery in order to get a jump on Roman, and Avery will only give up a few details about her adoptive dad and his mysterious suicide (it wasn't a suicide, c'mon, this is Blindspot), as well as his mysterious boss... who is a name we're quite familiar with.
Teens, amirite?
