J.J. Abrams' New Series 'Demimonde' Lands at HBO!
A new sci-fi series from J.J. Abrams has been ordered straight to series by HBO, though details of the show’s plot are still under wraps.
Demimonde is being “described as an epic and intimate sci-fi fantasy drama that deals with a world’s battle against a monstrous, oppressive force,” according to Variety.
Abrams’ Bad Robot will produce the series with Warner Bros. Television and HBO. He will be writing the series, marking the first time he will write for television since Fringe in 2008.
In the movie world, Abrams is continuing his work with the Star Wars franchise as the producer, writer, and director of the upcoming Episode IX.
