Crash injures Onamia woman

A 79-year-old woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 6:48 a.m. Thursday in Onamia in Mille Lacs County.

ONAMIA—A 79-year-old woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 6:48 a.m. Thursday in Onamia in Mille Lacs County.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported Lavonne E. Haugen of Onamia was driving a Dodge Caravan east on Highway 27 and pulled out in front of a Grand Prix, driven by Alan T. Voss, 52, Isle, at the junction of Highway 169, when the two vehicles collided.

Haugen was transported to Mille Lacs Health System for non-life-threatening injuries. Voss and his passenger, Alanthomas R. Voss, 24, Coon Rapids, were not injured.

The Mille Lacs County Sheriff's Office assisted the state patrol at the scene.
