NIMISHILLEN TWP.  The Military Family Center of Pegasus Farm is taking registrations for its February programs.

A four-week program for veterans and first responders is set for 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Wednesdays, starting next week, through Feb. 28. The four weekly sessions will focus on topics such as the power of the herd, the silent language of the horse, the importance of authority, safety from the horse’s point of view, and dealing with an ever-changing environment.

“Love One Another,” a program for veterans, first responders and their spouses, is set for 9:30 a.m. Feb. 24. The program will include horse activities, a painting project with Walsh University Art Club, and social time.

Pegasus Farm is a therapeutic equestrian farm that serves people with disabilities at its Marlboro Township location. The military center is located at 5495 Meese Road NE in Nimishillen Township.
