The rest of the night will be rainy, with warmer temperatures on the way.
A warm front offshore will push past us overnight. Gusty winds follow, the rain will lighten up and temperatures may actually rise in the Portland area overnight.
The Groundhog will likely not see his shadow in western Oregon or Washington. That, according to ancient legend, portends an early spring.
Regardless of how that works out, we’ve got mild weather on the way with highs in the low to mid-50s and occasional light rain over the weekend.
Next week brings dry and mild weather. Clouds begin to break up Monday and Tuesday, with highs in the upper 50s. With a clearer sky Wednesday through Friday, we may be looking at record high temperatures in the 60s.
Enjoy the weather.
