THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Finance Minister Dr. Thomas Isaac has said that the budget that he presents on Friday would have social security as its crux. He said that all Malayalees would be provided with a complete social security package.

“Measures will be taken considering the circumstance of Gulf Malayalees losing their jobs. Priority will be given to industries that caters to development. Also, measures will be taken to improve the implementation of the GST.”

Talking to reporters, he also told that the budget will stress of women friendliness and public welfare.

Dr. Thomas Isaac also said that he would express his displeasure at the Centre intervening in the controlling of fiscal deficit.
