FARGO — A woman appeared to escape serious harm when the vehicle she was driving snapped a light pole Thursday afternoon, Feb. 1.

The crash happened about 5 p.m. on Fourth Street South near Second Avenue.

The light pole collapsed onto the vehicle's roof, and firefighters who arrived on the scene waited for the arrival of paramedics before walking the woman to the ambulance to be checked out.

No other details were immediately available Thursday.
