I truly believe that the happiest people in the world should be God’s people. God has called us through the great commission of Mark 16:15-16, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be condemned.”
God wants His children to be happy and desires for them to be a witness to the world of God’s saving grace and His love. Think about it: Why would anyone want to follow someone who wasn’t happy? I believe that Jesus was happy throughout His ministry and according to Acts 10:38, the scriptures declare, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” I believe Jesus went about making others happy as He healed them and liberated them from Satan’s snare.
