Mansingh Jatav, son of a farmer Harimohan Jatav of Bagdua village in Sheopur district, will now go to University of Technology, Sydney (Australia) for further studies.
This was possible due to Mansingh’s hard work and Madhya Pradesh government’s Higher Education Study Scheme. Tribal Welfare Department has approved Rs 9.66 lakh to Mansingh for higher education abroad under the scheme.
Mansingh’s father Harimohan is a small farmer by profession. He has just three bigha land through he manages a five-member family. Being an illiterate he realized the importance of education and left no stone unturned in getting his children educated.
A brilliant student since childhood, Mansingh completed his primary education from Bagua village and after finishing his middle education from nearby village Soikala village he passed high school and higher secondary education from Government Higher Secondary School of Excellence Sheopur with 75 and 67 per cent respectively. Later he obtained a BE degree in electrical branch from Government Indira Gandhi Engineering College, Sagar.
In year 2017, Mansingh got selected through entrance examination for Masters degree course in Computer Control Engineering in University of Technology, Sydney in Australia. But due to poor financial conditions, Mansingh’s desire to study abroad was a dream. To realize his dream, Mansingh was granted a scholarship under Higher Education Scheme abroad by the Madhya Pradesh government. Mansingh has resolved to serve in India after completing his masters degree in Computer Control Engineering for two years from UTS Australia.
