GENEVA: Dr. Hanif Hassan Al Qasim, President of the Geneva Centre for Human Rights Advancement and Global Dialogue, stated that the Centre is keen to organise activities and research and training programmes and promote human dialogue. The aim is to achieve its vision and mission to promote the values of human co-existence.
Dr. Hanif highlighted the importance of cooperation between civil society organisations and their international efforts in objectively adopting the principles of human rights, free from double standards.
He made his statement during a visit by a delegation of human rights workers and students from Saudi Arabic to the centre in Geneva, as part of a cultural and knowledge exchange programme organised by the “Saudi Company for Corporate Social Responsibility.”
The delegation was led by Dr. Shady Fouad Khawandanah, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Special Direction Foundation, a Jeddah-based organisation. The delegation also included scholars and professors representing King Saud University, King Saud Bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences and Umm Al Qura University, along with several experts from the Saudi Ministry of Education.
